Katy Kids Chess Beginners Monthly Rated Chess tournaments are hosted every last Sunday of the month.
Event Details
• Date: [5.31.26]
• Time: [12am] – [4pm] Doors open at 11am.
• Location: [923 S Mason Rd, Katy, TX 77450]
• Bring your own clock
Eligibility
• Open to all chess players with an ELO rating of 1200 and below
• Active USCF membership is required to participate Competition Format
• 5 rounds of play
• Each round uses a 15-minute time control per player (G/15)
• Swiss-system pairing (no elimination – everyone plays all rounds)
• Entry Fee: [$20] per participant
• Prizes: Trophies for top finishers and medals for all participants
